This cross-disciplinary conference was organised by the Scientific Society for Saudi Students in the UK with support from the Saudi Arabian Cultural Bureau in London, Imperial College London and King Abdullah University of Science and Technology. KAUST is committed to the development of a knowledge-based economy in Saudi Arabia. Under the leadership of founding Vice President, Dr Najah Ashry, KAUST's Saudi Initiatives organization invests in the Nation's brightest young minds to ensure a strong and prosperous future.
