Case studies and worked examples are used extensively to clarify the technical concepts presented. Examples and problems are provided in many of the chapters, and detailed solutions are furnished in the appendix. Finally, the specific survey issues related to uranium, thorium, power reactor, and university/research facilities are discussed in detail, and include effective strategies for streamlining final status surveys.
